The Fixtures Duo

1The Fixtures Duo is a Jazz/Pop cover band that brings a beautiful romantic atmosphere to any venue, as well as private and corporate events. Their style is a perfect blend of Jazz standards, Neo Soul and tasty mellow versions of popular songs. After meeting on a joint musical project, Fabienne Grisel (Vocals) and Ido Sasson (Guitar) realized they shared a love for similar music and decided to form The Fixtures Duo.

Fabienne grew up in Europe and was introduced to music (Jazz ) by her father, a trumpet player. Being surrounded by melodies, she started singing at the young age of 7. In the early 90s, she moved to Los Angeles and studied Vocals and Songwriting at Musicians Institute. After exploring different genres of music and playing in various bands, she released a solo record in 2015 for which she won an award from Songnet (The Independent Songwriter’s Network.) She’s studied classical vocal technique and pedagogy for the past 19 years.

Ido is a session guitarist and producer with over 15 years of professional experience in both recording and live performance. After completing his degree from Musicians Institute, he toured Europe has performed live on TV shows including the Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson and The CBS Morning Show. He has also worked in the studio with many artists such as Sarah Bettens of K’s Choice and Adam Cohen (Leonard Cohen’s son.)
