John Jones

At age 9, John began studying classical piano, but his parents filled the house with music by The Beatles, Rufus & Chaka Khan, Fleetwood Mac and Stevie Wonder, and more, fostering his love for Pop music. By his teens, he’d discovered Jazz and R&B, inspiring him to explore music composition. Grammy-nominated artist MAYSA LEAK has released two of John’s compositions, “Everything” and “Honey Bee,” and he’s preparing to release several of his own singles- streaming soon!

Whether he is composing for other musicians, producing his original tracks, or gracing venues and events with his performances, John is most in his element when seated at a piano with a microphone in hand. Besides his impressive nine-plus-year tenure at Chicagoland’s Big Shot Piano Lounge, he has delivered captivating performances in various locations, including Italy, Spain, Mexico, and the Virgin Islands.

Singer/pianist John Jones brings a Rock ‘N’ Roll vibe, encouraging his audience to clap, stomp, and sing along. With a sharp sense of humor and an extensive repertoire, John has graced stages nationwide, including New Orleans’ famous “Pat O’Brien’s Nightclub,” and he is currently a part of some of Las Vegas’s most popular piano shows. He’s even had the honor of opening for contemporary superstars like Ray Romano from “Everybody Loves Raymond” and Jon Stewart from Comedy Central’s “The Daily Show.”
