Flamingo

From Salt Lake City, Utah, Flamingo plays Jazz & Blues inspired by New Orleans, Havana, and Miami.

Forming in early 2021, the group began a weekly Jazz show which quickly garnered attention that resulted in regularly sold-out shows.

“The Flamboyance,” their debut album, was recorded live at Counterpoint Studios in Salt Lake City and released to local critical acclaim in September of 2022.

Consisting of Trumpet, Saxophone, Vocals, Piano, Upright Bass, and Drums, Flamingo is a fresh and modern take on Jazz.

With a catalog featuring New Orleans Standards, Ray Charles, Louis Armstrong, Ella Fitzgerald, Preservation Hall Jazz Band, and more, Flamingo is Jazz & Blues like you’ve never heard them before.

Flamingo’s 2023 residency is every Wednesday at Lake Effect in Salt Lake City.
