#### The Firenze Strings: professional players, good friends, women with a passion for chamber music!
The Firenze Strings have been playing Las Vegas in venues such as the the Winchester Cultural Center, The Starbright Theatre, and the Smith Center. They also perform outreach concerts at Clark County School District elementary and middle schools.
Each Firenze Strings concert includes major works of chamber music composed by the familiar greats–Franz Shubert, Johannes Brahms, and Ludwig van Beethoven. But the programming of the show is also geared toward bringing something new to the group’s audiences.
The septets name is derived from Peter Tchaikovsky’s chamber piece “Souvenir de Florence,” with “Firenze” being the Italian word for the city of Florence. This was the title to the group’s first performance piece back in 2010.

Fellowship is what binds these highly renowned women. The group not only enjoys playing music but the friends use it as an excuse to get together. “It gives us a break from our routine in Las Vegas and brings us back to what’s really important!”
