About

A musician, singer and frontman with a ton of charisma, Drew Anthony is a natural born entertainer. “When on stage, heʼs like a fish in water,” said NYU professor and tenor John Kuhn.

After years of local musical theater, wedding bands and private shows Drew moved to New York City and enrolled in New School University, Mannes College of Music Jazz Division. He received his B.F.A. in Jazz voice performance and received the title: “Manhattanʼs Smoothest Crooner,”. Drew’s own musical show “The American Standards,” was a hit on many stages such as Foxwoods Resort Casino in Connecticut and the famed Dannyʼs Skylight Room Cabaret in NYC. Drew has also played The Jazz Spot in New York City, Yale Universityʼs Sprague Memorial Hall, and the historic Shubert Theater in New Haven, CT.

He has also performed in ensembles with Benny Powell, Arnie Lawrence and Chico Hamilton, as well as recorded with celebrated Blues pianist Junior Mance.  He has sung with popular Jazz recording artist Sheila Jordan and was privileged to sing at the legendary Blue Note with the Charles Tolliver Orchestra.  Drew displayed his vocal versatility when he sang with the Afro-Cuban Jazz Orchestra under the direction of noted percussionist Bobby Sanabria at Manhattanʼs underground Latin nightclub, the Nuyorican Poets Cafe.

After performing with his own band, “The Drew Anthony Orchestra,” and enjoying success in casino lounges in Atlantic City and both the famed Foxwoods Resort Casino and Mohegan Sun in Connecticut, Drew decided to roll the dice and move to Las Vegas, NV, in 2006.

Soon after his arrival Drew landed a job at the historic Riviera Hotel and Casino where legendary artists like Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, and Elvis Presley performed.  A new chapter in Drew’s life began when Drew took a starring role impersonating Dean Martin in “The Rat Pack is Back.”

Drew Anthony has since become one of the worldʼs finest Dean Martin impersonators.  “It is an honor to play Dean Martin, I have great respect for what he was able to do with his life. When you’ve left this earth and are still making people happy with what you did while you were here, I canʼt think of any higher achievement one can accomplish with their life.  I enjoy portraying him; I appreciate his work and I give the best I can with every performance to be sincere, accurate, and respectful to the memory of Dean Martin.”

Now in production, Drew’s show “DEAN LIVES” celebrates the joy that only Dean Martin could bring to the masses, as well as the pride he gave to being Italian-American. During the 90-minute multimedia musical journey, Drew performs Dean’s most beloved hit songs with a beautifully arranged 12-piece orchestra.

Whether performing as Dean Martin or himself, Drew Anthony is a fierce talent that is here to stay.  Audiences throughout the United States are consistently taken in by the silver velvet voice and magical stage presence of Drew Anthony. Once you hear him, feel his charm, you are hooked; locked tight in the grip of something extraordinary.
