Recognized as one of the most unique and thrilling acts existing today, the New York Times has deemed Brittany’s hand balancing and acrobatic act as “beautiful, exciting, and fun.”
Ever since a young age, Brittany loved finding the tallest trees to climb and the narrowest structures to balance from. It was no surprise that gymnastics ended up being the perfect fit to channel her creative and adventurous energy into. For twelve years Brittany competed nationally and internationally in the sport of gymnastics. At the age of 18, Brittany decided to retire from competition but was not done being physical and creative with her body. In 2005, she was asked to join Do Jump! Extremely Physical Theatre, and performed and toured as an ensemble member with the company for the next 7 years. While working with Do Jump!, Brittany was given the opportunity to hone her acrobatic, aerial, and performance skills.
Brittany has trained hand balancing with Cory Tabino (Cirque du Soleil) and Yury Bozyan (École Nationale de Cirque), and is also skilled in aerial work, tumbling, and stilt walking. Brittany’s act and skills are appropriate for many occasions, including variety shows, cabarets, fairs, festivals, and corporate events.
