About

Thigh Voltage is an all-girl tribute to AC/DC, the iconic Rock band from Australia with giant riffs, a rowdy image, and a monstrous sound. Thigh Voltage’s performance is described as raw, aggressive, and sexy, complete with all of Angus Youngs trademark guitar solos. These girls rock hard, celebrating the legacy of the world’s biggest Rock ‘n’ Roll band.

Frontwoman Cian Coey belts out Brian Johnson vocals like a hard-rocking Aussie juggernaut and channels the gritty vocals and charismatic style of his predecessor Bon Scott almost effortlessly.

Lead guitarist Leona X fell in love with Angus Young’s guitar sound and stage personality at the age of 16 and wanted to be just like him. It’s impossible to imagine an AC/DC show without Young bobbing his head up and down in time to the music and Leona does it all, complete with his fiery blues based pentatonic solos on her Gibson SG guitar, his infamous strip tease, drenched in sweat, and his manic stage persona. AC/DC fans agree she has him down pat.

Eva Karczewska honors the legacy of Malcolm Young, the greatest rhythm guitarist of all time. Malcolm’s brilliant songwriting, and distinctive chops are inextricable to AC/DC’s identity, and his contribution to Rock ‘n’ Roll history will never be forgotten. Like Malcolm, Eva is the band’s musical anchor and reinforcement.

Rachel G salutes the amazing Cliff Williams, the one who drives the band home. Her bass lines are refreshingly straightforward and to the point, never drawing too much attention, but always bolstering the song. Just like Cliff, she is a big reason this boogie train rolls on.

Courtney Laurenco holds down the thunderous backbeat as Phil Rudd, an essential piece of AC/DC’s musical puzzle. Just like Rudd, Courtney’s metronome-like precision sets the backbone of their signature sound. Phil would be proud of Courtney’s rock-solid, play-for-the-song drumming.
