PINK MALIBU BAND features keyboardist/singer/bassist/actor/music producer Eric Stang with actress/model/vocalist extraordinaire Kyle Thatch. Their collaboration began during a perfect sunset at the fabulous Mastro’s Restaurant in Malibu, California and has blossomed into performances from coast to coast. Corporate shows in Los Angeles, Chicago, and Las Vegas have enabled them to work with some of the finest musicians, customizing each presentation with different-sized ensembles and unique, creative repertoires. Along with the PINK MALIBU BAND project, Eric and Kyle recently returned from a 70-show European tour with their original music band, KARMIC, which included festivals and air play on Indie-Pop Euro stations.
Starting with a Bachelor’s Degree in Music from DePaul University, Eric recorded with artists such as Kanye West, Twista, Malik Yusef, Desi Valentine, Lauren Ruth Ward, Will Champlin, and Matt McAndrew. As an actor/performer, he starred as Jerry Lee Lewis in the Tony-Award winning musical “Million Dollar Quartet” during its successful runs in Chicago and New York.
Kyle’s career began singing backup on Michael Jackson’s “History” album. She starred in many theatrical productions while attending Los Angeles College of Music. She worked alongside other industry moguls including Nick Jonas, UK star Sam Romans, Mike Clink (Guns N’ Roses, Heart,) Simon Phillips, and recently, she was featured on a couple of tracks with House legend Erick Morillo.
The fusion of these two monster talents creates the nucleus of the PINK MALIBU BAND, an incredible ensemble available as a 4pc, 5pc or even as a duo for a more intimate performance.
