About

Born and raised in a small town in Germany, Max Embers started learning classical piano at the age of six and wrote his first song when he was just thirteen years old. After winning first place in the nationwide singing and songwriting competition Jugend Musiziert in Germany, he went on to study at Berklee College of Music in Boston, one of the leading contemporary music institutions in the world. There, he had the privilege of working and sharing the stage with legends like multi-platinum selling artist Paula Cole and Emmy, Tony Award and Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award recipient, Harry Belafonte.

After graduating from Berklee with a Bachelor’s Degree in Songwriting in 2016, he moved to Los Angeles to pursue his career as a performer, writer, and artist and has since worked with notable industry talents such as Grammy-Award-winning songwriter Anita McCloud and platinum-selling record producer Sam Barsh. His recently released sophomore record “The Way I See You Now” followed his debut single “Lying” and blends the atmospheric nostalgia of The 1975 with memorable pop-gold melodies à la Troye Sivan.

Besides working on his solo artist project, Max has been the lead singer of multiple renowned wedding bands and regularly performs at venues all over Southern California.
