About

Born in Columbia, Missouri, Brett began singing at the age of 12 at a local theater company called C.E.C. (Columbia Entertainment Company). His mother, Dr. Sherri Rigby, pushed him up on the stage at the auditions to sing Amazing Grace. He immediately fell in love with this new attention and opportunities. He proceeded to attend numerous singing and performance arts workshops across the nation. Brett continued to star in productions on a yearly basis throughout junior high and high school and was awarded top honors at several state level vocal competitions.
Late in his senior year of high school, Brett auditioned for the prestigious performing New York City performing arts school ‘Circle In The Square’. Brett was accepted and immediately decided to pursue his passion and put the local university option to rest. Brett worked off Broadway and studied music and voice with some of the best in the business.

Brett moved to Los Angeles in January 2010 to pursue music out west. He wound up singing on the Sunset Strip at places like, “The Key Club” and “House of Blues”. After two years performing in Los Angeles, Brett relocated to Las Vegas where he currently resides. Most recently, Brett can be seen performing at the Monte Carlo every week on the Las Vegas Strip in addition to other various venues around the Vegas area. Lately, Brett has finished his first solo album, working with some of the finest Nashville musicians. The album will be released by the end of 2013. Brett has also joined forces with some incredible talents to form the hot, new country-rock band, “Tempered Steel Union”.

His influences are Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, Garth Brooks, Dwight Yoakam, Frank Sinatra & Elvis Presley.
