Ellie Kate is an Australian singer/songwriter, whose electric compositions combine elements of soul, R&B, acoustic, jazz, folk, avante-garde, adult-alternative, pop and world music. She began her career at 12 years old, teaching herself how to play the piano, guitar, and began training her voice.

She is known to have a rich, sultry voice that possesses depth and range. Her genre is best described as R&B/soul fused with world music, an incredible combination and reaches and speaks to all.
